PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL SERVICES AT ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI CHURCH, 26 O'HALLORAN ROAD, CHRISTIES BEACH ARE SUSPENDED DUE TO  COMMENCEMENT OF THE REBUILD.
ON THE 4TH SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH A FREE MEAL AND EVENSONG FOR HOPE SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT ST HILARY'S CHURCH, 1 HIGH STREET, MORPHETT VALE, BEGINNING AT 5.00PM. ALL WELCOME. NEXT EVENSONG FOR HOPE WILL BE  SUNDAY 23 AUGUST 2026.

Choir Practice for Sunday's Evensong for Hope will be held at St Hilary's Church on Thursday, 20 August at 7.00pm  All Welcome.  

THE WEEK AHEAD  

Monday, 10 August - Mary Sumner Day at Christ Church, Mount Barker with a Service at 11.00am followed by the Diocesan AGM, Meet at St Aidan's at 9.25am to car pool.  BYO Lunch.
The next Mothers' Union meeting will be at St Hilary's on Monday, 17 August at 12noon. "Share your MU Story."  BYO lunch.

Friday, 14 August - 11.45 for 12noon Men's Fellowship at St Aidan's. BYO Lunch Rod Sandercock and Dave Oakley playing clarinets.  All welcome.

Please note that Sunday, 30 August, being a fifth Sunday of the Month, will be a combined Parish Service at St Hilary's Church, 1 High Street, Morphett Vale, commencing at 10.00am.  Please being a plate of food to share at morning tea afterwards. This will be the only service held in the parish on the day.

On 30 August, between 2.00 and 5.00pm at St Aidan's Church, Rev'd Carol Cornwall will lead a session on Pastoral Care.  If you would like to attend, please RSVP to Rev'd Carol. (Email: cbcornwall@adam.com.au)  Please bring a Bible, pen, paper and something to share for afternoon tea. 

 

St Hilary's Op Shop, 3 William Street, Morphett Vale - Open Thursdays and Fridays 9.30am - 1.00pm in "The Old Courthouse" - where you will find bargain clothing and heaps of other treasures and nicnacs.

The Anglican Benevolent Buy and Sell Consignment Shooperates at Christ Church, 1708 Main South Road, on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 10.00am til 3.00pm.  The Shop stocks unique gifts, handmade crafts, home decor, jewellery and quality pre-owned but new treasures, all in one welcoming place.  (See poster below). 

Food for those in need  - Non-perishable foods can be left at any of the four Churches for distribution to those in need.  Thank you for your ongoing support.

Coffee'n'Chat in the Ministry Centre at St Hilary's on Fridays from 10.00-11.30am provides a friendly opportunity for morning tea and a chat.

The Soup Kitchen follows at 11.30am - 1.30pm when you can enjoy a cup of nourishing soup and a sandwich with some friendly company.
