THE WEEK AHEAD  

12 June, St Aidan's Men's Club will meet at the Church at 11.45 for 12 noon for BYO Lunch and Guest Speaker will be David McNab on Neighbourhood Watch. See pew sheet for contact details.

15 June  - Mothers' Union will meet at St Hilary's at 12 noon for Bible discussion.

Please note that because of Diocesan Synod being held in Mount Barker from 19-21 June, there will be only one service in the parish on 21 June. That will be Morning Prayer at St Hilary's, commencing at 9.00am.

COMING UP SOON....

Calling all former Girls' Friendly Society and Church of England Boys' Society members and leaders.  2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the start of these two groups at St Hilary's Church, Morphett Vale. At our 9.00am service on Sunday, 28 June we plan to acknowledge and give thanks to God for the ministry to and of our young people with morning tea to follow.  All are welcome.

Our next Evensong for Hope will be on 28 June at St Francis of Assisi Church, 26 O'Halloran Road, Christies Beach, commencing at 5.00pm with a free meal and Evensong (with great music) starts at 6.00pm.  All welcome. See Poster above.  

 

St Hilary's Op Shop, 3 William Street, Morphett Vale - Open Thursdays and Fridays 9.30am - 1.00pm in "The Old Courthouse" - where you will find bargain clothing and heaps of other treasures and nicnacs.

The Anglican Benevolent Buy and Sell Consignment Shooperates at Christ Church, 1708 Main South Road, on Tuesdays to Thursdays from 10.00am til 3.00pm.  The Shop stocks unique gifts, handmade crafts, home decor, jewellery and quality pre-owned but new treasures, all in one welcoming place.  (See poster below). 

Services at St Francis of Assisi are held at 11.00am fortnightly, on First and Third Sundays of the month. 

Food for those in need  - Non-perishable foods can be left at any of the four Churches for distribution to those in need.  Thank you for your ongoing support.

Coffee'n'Chat in the Ministry Centre at St Hilary's on Fridays from 10.00-11.30am provides a friendly opportunity for morning tea and a chat.

The Soup Kitchen follows at 11.30am - 1.30pm when you can enjoy a cup of nourishing soup and a sandwich with some friendly company.
