A big thank you to all our volunteers who without their assistance these programs would not be available. More Volunteers are always required for our programs. Please contact the Priest in Charge or Wardens if you are able to assist.
Mum’s Kitchen and Soup KitchenCommunity Luncheon at St Francis of Assisi Monday at 12.30 p.m. and St Hilary’s at 12.00 p.m. on Friday. Each Monday and Friday we provide a free lunch to needy members of the community. If you are finding life difficult and need some assistance with a meal, come along and join us and enjoy a beautiful lunch with the companionship of others. A wonderful time is had by guests and volunteers alike. | Emergency Food ReliefIf you are in need of food relief, please visit one of our Parish Centres or call the Parish Office. | Op ShopsWe have two Op Shops. One located at St Francis of Assisi, Christies Beach, and the other at St Hilary’s, Morphett Vale Opening Hours- 9am to 12 noon. For Pre-Loved Clothes and Homewares visit the Shops situated adjacent to each church. Donations are always welcome, although we are unable to accept furniture and electrical goods. | Action Planning and Mission GroupsThere are four Mission Groups throughout the Parish (Serving, Teaching, Growing and Giving). Join a group acting in these Mission areas, reach out to people in need, and support other ventures within our Parish. These new groups, will encourage us all, as Christians, to make our presence felt throughout the Parish, and support and reach out to others. |
